I believe we’ve reached a point where we urgently need to remember who we are and who the machines are (and should be). HI vs AI. Trust isn’t digital. Happiness isn’t a program. Relationships aren’t code. Human Qualia (defined as instances of subjective experience) don’t emerge from faster processors, smarter algorithms, or perfect optimization. They come from being human, from what I call the Androrithms, from making an effort, from keeping your word, caring for one another, and finding meaning beyond efficiency. The more we automate our lives, the more intentional we must become about protecting the experiences that make life worth living.

I embrace technology, but I don’t want to confuse logical capability with human agency. AI can calculate, predict, and generate, pretend and simulate – but it cannot love, forgive, hope, or belong. Those are not bugs waiting to be solved; they are the essence of who we are.  The future isn’t about becoming more like machines – It’s about becoming more deeply human.
